IDYLLWILD, Calif. — This mountain village above Palm Springs is seeing more snow than the past several winters, bringing a little relief from the drought.
While it’s breathtaking to see, the snow can’t be taken lightly when driving. All visitors should check weather forecasts before they come up “The Hill” and make sure the weather station you choose is at the correct elevation to give you the necessary information. Idyllwild is at approximately one mile high. Idyllwild Fire Station is a good weather station for reporting local conditions via Wundergound.com
